Jakub specializes in capital market law, particularly in the law of investment funds. He has many years of experience in providing legal assistance to management companies, brokerage houses and other participants of the capital market. In his professional practice, he has conducted a number of proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority regarding, among others, obtaining authorisation to conduct management company business, creation of open-ended investment funds and specialized open-ended investment funds, and financial instruments portfolio management. He has participated in the creation of several dozen investment funds operating on the Polish market.

He also provides legal assistance to foreign management companies and foreign funds. He was also a supervision inspector and internal auditor in a brokerage house. In recent years, he has acted as a lecturer at over a dozen training courses devoted to capital market law, dedicated in particular to investment fund companies and brokerage houses.

He is fluent in English.
